Dying

When characters are brought below 0 hp, they enter a bleed state:

- Bleeding state takes effect between 0 and -9 HP
- Bleeding state can be stabilized by healing or through use of Bandages with a heal check.
- Time between bleeding state depends on the level of the character
- Characters have a 10% chance to self stabilize.

Death

Characters who die are brought to the Near Ethereal where they must ponder their fate and wait for a character to raise them , or respawn.

-Characters do not drop any items or gold upon death.
- Characters are brought to the Near Ethereal upon death.
-Characters who are Raised from the dead with a Raise Dead spell suffer a 100sp/level penalty as well as an XP penalty of 1/8th total XP
-Characters who are raised by an NPC also suffer a 100sp/level penalty as well as an XP penalty of 1/8th total XP.
-If your character falls under the XP requirement of your current level due to an XP loss, you lose that level.

Respawn

Upon arrival at the Near Ethereal your ghost will also be given the chance to respawn.

-Respawn penalties are harsh, with a 100% silver loss and an XP penalty of 1/4th total XP
- If you have died as a result of PVP, you are forbidden from respawning.
-If your character falls under the XP requirement of your current level due to an XP loss, you lose that level.
-Characters leveled 2-3 are immune to these penalties.
